Indian Ocean
Best time to snorkel in the Maldives: what to expect when

Best time to snorkel in the Maldives: what I saw in both seasons. Nurse sharks and turtles in the shallows, mantas and a whale shark in the wet season.

Islands: Dhigurah Fulidhoo Kamadhoo Maalhos Rasdhoo

Snorkeling in Mauritius: my experience and the best time

Snorkeling in Mauritius: off the beach at Flic en Flac a calm lagoon, more colorful by boat. Plus the turtle, dolphins, dangers and water by month.

Red Sea
Best time to visit Sharm el Sheikh: snorkeling in the Red Sea

Best time to visit Sharm el Sheikh and the Red Sea: you can get in the water all year round. Water temperature and visibility per month, plus my October.

Islands: Sharm el Sheikh
Andaman Sea
Snorkeling in Thailand: the coast matters, not the month

Snorkeling in Thailand: two coasts with opposite seasons. If you go to the wrong one in January, you get wind and murky water; the other is glassy calm.
